
Joining the Library
You may register by completing the Online Membership Form or by completing a membership form at your local library.
You will need to bring photo ID along with an acceptable proof of current permanent address*.
*Acceptable proof of permanent address includes driving licence, bank statement or utility bill.
As a registered member of the library, you may borrow books, use the internet and access a range of online resources.
To complete your registration, you will be asked to provide a four digit PIN of your choosing.

Using the Library
Your Library card allows you borrow from our collections and access the public computers.
Borrowing: Library members may borrow up to 12 items for a period of three weeks.
Renewals: Library items may be renewed if they are not requested by another borrower.
Items may be renewed at your library, or by telephone.
You may also Renew your Library Items Online.
Overdue Items: Fines are charged at a rate of €0.05 per item per day.
Fines can be easily avoided by:
* returning your books on time
* renewing your books, at your library, by telephone or online.
By providing your email address, you will receive an email alert you when your books are overdue.

You can search the Library catalogue, renew your library items, request books, CDs and DVDs. You can also read online Newspapers, e-books and listen to e-audiobooks. Check out our Service from the comfort of your home.
