Leitrim County Council are calling on all persons ordinarily resident in the county and who feel they have an entitlement to vote, to follow the process below.
1. Visit the website, www.checktheregister.ie and ascertain whether you are listed on same. (This contains both the Live Register for 2019/2020 and the Supplementary Register as of May 2019 Local & European elections).
2. If you are not on same, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 071 9620005 to ascertain whether you are included on the Supplement to the Register for the General Election on February 8th 2020.
3. If you are advised you are not on the Supplement, please complete the relevant form available on https://www.checktheregister.ie/PublicPages/AppForms.aspx, and submit it to Leitrim County Council by close of business on Wednesday next 22nd. Please note Form RFA2 (Application for inclusion in the Supplement) and Form RFA3 (Application for inclusion in the Supplement to the Register of Electors Change of Address) must be signed by a member of An Garda Síochána.
